MUD\WTR is looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist. The mission of the QA/QC Specialist is to ensure MUD\WTR products are safe for consumption, meet our quality standards and are in compliance of FDA regulations. The QA/QC Specialist will work closely with our Ops team, as well as externally with our co-manufacturers, suppliers and 3rd party agencies. You will also have some degree of cross-functionality with Customer Experience for customer communication.

You will:

• assure the quality of MUD\WTR products manufactured at our co-manufacturing facilities by working with the co-mans, suppliers and our internal team.
• level up our internal quality systems to give us a solid foundation to continue our fast growth.
• apply information from CFR 21 and know how to navigate FDA regulations.
• track, evaluate and report customer complaints with our CX team.
• guide the product development process from ideation to commercialization to ensure regulatory compliance every step of the way, including label and copy reviews and certification management.
• create and maintain internal and external documentation, such as SOPs and product labels.
• guide the creative department on regulatory restrictions around advertising MUD\WTR products.

You are:

• experienced in regulatory review of food and supplement products.
• highly organized, adaptable and detail oriented.
• not afraid to ask questions, continue learning and voice an opinion.
• able to work collaboratively with other team members, offering insights and alternative guidance when necessary.
