About this position

Imaging: Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures on neonate, infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric customers. In addition, the incumbent aids in the instruction of Radiologic Technology students and performs any and all other duties of the Imaging Services Department.

Cath Lab: Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures on adolescent, adult and geriatric customers. In addition, the incumbent aids in the instruction of Radiologic Technology students and performs any and all other duties of the Cath Lab Department.

  • Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately.

  • Maintains accurate customer medical records. Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.
  • Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
  • Interacts with physicians, co-workers, customers, and families in a professional manner.
  • Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 1-5 years' experience in Radiologic Technology.

Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory

  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist - NMH Standard
  • BLS Certification - NMH Standard

Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory where Applicable


Licensure/Certification(s) Preferred


Hours per two week pay period: 80

Shift: Day/Evening 8 hours

Weekend Requirement: Weekends by Department Rotation
