About us -

Temporary Part-Time Hygienist needed for 3 to 4 days per week due to leave of absence in Sun City/Menifee, CA. Position is anticipated to last from middle of June 2023 to the middle of October 2023

We are a private dental office looking for a dental hygienist who can deliver excellent patient care, and is looking to join our amazing team! Our one doctor private office takes great pride in the customer service and friendly welcoming environment we provide to our patients.

Our office is located in Sun City/Menifee. We are a PPO and cash office. We are not HMO or Denti-Cal providers.

Duties and Responsibilities - Dental Hygienists perform basic dental duties as well as assist with more advanced procedures. Responsibilities and duties for a Dental Hygienist include:

• Screening patients during checkups
• Reviewing a patient’s dental history
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
• Performing preventive dental care
• Applying fluoride treatments
• Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases

Skills and Qualifications - Aside from technical knowledge and skills, Dental Hygienists must have:

• Verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills
• The ability to convey complex health information in a simple way
• The ability to interact with young and old patients
• Excellent critical-thinking skills
• Drive to stay up to date on latest dental tools and methods

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No nights
• No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

License/Certification:

• California RDH license (Required)
