Don’t miss this opportunity to join our Medical/Surgical team! Black River Memorial Hospital has openings for Registered Nurses in our Med/Surg Department. The Registered Nurse plans and provides comprehensive patient care as well as manages available nursing resources and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.

The positions available are:

• (2) Full-time positions, 72 hours per pay period, night shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays
• (1) Full-time position, 72 hours per pay period, day shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays
• (1) Full-time position, 72 hours per pay period paid for 80, weekender-nights, benefited
• (1) Part-time position, 48 hours per pay period, night shift, benefited with rotating weekends and holidays

Essential Duties Include:

• Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards.
• Provides individualized patient and family-focused care throughout the patient’s stay.
• Initiates effective after-care and referral plans on admission utilizing appropriate hospital and community resources.
• Participates in patient and family education as evidenced by teaching documentation with appropriate resources.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science, Associates degree in Nursing or Diploma RN. BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS within 1- year.
• Current licensed Wisconsin RN.
• Must be currently licensed Wisconsin RN or may possess a State of Wisconsin temporary permit to practice practical nursing under the direct supervision of a registered nurse until a credential is granted.
