Mancan is working with a Ravenna company Product Development Lab Associates to join their team.Hours of Work: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay rate is up to $55k, BOE
This is not your standard Quality Control position!
Job Summary: Performing lab support for the technical department. Emphasis will be on new product development and testing of alternative sources of materials. May provide technical support to other departments.
Technical Lab Work
- Performs incoming raw material, in-process, and finished product physical testing for research and development projects
- Create test reports, certificates of conformance, and cover letters
- Fabricates samples for customer evaluation
- Prepares, compiles, and records activities related to sample preparation
- Actively participates in developing new products and procedures
- Creates bill of materials structures for production or costing
- Orders lab supplies and requests raw material samples from vendors
- Creates new inventory numbers for experimental raw materials, prints/files its safety data sheet
- Upkeep of laboratory and equipment
- Observes experimental trial runs and records all running parameters
