Reservation Agent
Would you love to send families and couples on dream vacations? Our Reservation Agents confirm travel dates for qualified resort guests on behalf of VacationVIP’s resort partners.
VacationVIP is a resort marketing company, and one of the largest providers of qualified tours to some of the biggest brand names in hospitality. We’re currently accepting applications for Reservation Agents, who are responsible for booking, upgrading and rescheduling reservations for our coveted vacation package holders. Our reservation agents are paid hourly + commissions and after 90 days are eligible for our booking bonus program. We provide all the tools, equipment and training you will need to maximize your earning potential.

Job Responsibilities
- Superior mix of sales and customer care skills combine to handle the booking and rebooking of travel requests in a timely manner
- Bring vacation dreams to life through excellent product (resort/package) knowledge
- Verify and qualify each reservation following established processes
- High level of gratitude for our customers, their experiences and empathy for working through their scheduling challenges to ensure a great vacation ahead
- Open and transparent feedback loop with interdepartmental teams and management in order to continue to optimize sales, reservations, and customer servicing process.
- Maintains positive attitude and effective working relationships with peers, management and other departments
- Works on special projects and other duties as required, helping to promote the department’s success.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of work experience within a fast-paced call center or service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Fluent in Google Docs and GSuite a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work on your feet and overcome objections
- Ability to learn other computer software programs, and enter and maintain accurate data/information
- Broad fundamental Reservations Center knowledge
- High integrity; maintains customer data and privacy as top priority
- Strong organizational skills
- A positive, helpful attitude to help co-workers succeed and make customers happy
- Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment
- Sunny disposition; no place for negativity
- Demonstration of teamwork and cooperation as well as the ability to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving. time management and diplomacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to work independently. Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
