Position: Part-Time Gift Shop Sales Supervisor

Joseph-Beth Nurture Gift Shop in the Bethesda North Hospital

(Applicants must be fully COVID vaccinated per hospital requirements)

Job responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Store Manager to keep everything running efficiently and effectively.

· You will be responsible for all guest experience activities and store operations—like your own small business, except you’re helping run a multimillion dollar retail location in one of our hospital gift shops.

· You will be responsible for everyday store sales and operations; such as sales metrics, payroll, and communication of ongoing efforts like team member development and performance management.

· Most of your time will be spent on the sales floor actively engaging with guests and team members to help ensure our guests are 100% satisfied.

· You will be tasked as the Manager on Duty several shifts per week and responsible for the store opening and closing duties.

Qualifications:

· 4 year degree or equivalent retail experience

· Guest-centric focus on providing exceptional service

· Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking

· Strong problem solving, decision making and financial analysis skills

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.33 - $16.68 per hour
