Job Title: Sales Manager (FL and PR)
Location: remote from FL

Position Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales of FranklinWH battery storage products throughout strategically assigned regional markets. This will require a full understanding of home battery storage applications and with connection with distributors and top 5 installers in the residential solar industry. A successful candidate will be familiar with existing and evolving solar policy to identify and track compelling markets for sales.

The individual must have a balanced blend of technical experience and commercial capabilities, be capable of establishing and nurturing effective relationships with decision makers of the top 5 installers in the territory, while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a fast-past US organization with specialized technical and commercial support from Shenzhen/HQ. Primary responsibilities of the Sales Manager include:

An understanding of energy storage systems, their major components, interfaces, and typical applications
Develop an understanding of competing energy storage technologies and use this knowledge to inform clients of FranklinWH’s competitive advantages and value propositions.
Capture competitive intelligence for internal debriefing and market positioning.
In conjunction with FranklinWH’s Sales Management, develop strategic sales plans to include target accounts, order intake and sales forecasts.
Create and nurture highly effective relationships with channel partners and customers.
Arrange customer meetings as required to execute the sales plan.
Coordinate all aspects of support to our customers during contract award discussions and subsequent field deployments, including management of training for partners’ personnel in product installation & field support.

Capable of establishing relationships with third parties at C-level, program management, and with technical & commercial specialists.
Comfortable working beyond normal office hours as required to meet customer expectations; an ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (up to 50%).
Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:

Minimum of 2 years work experience in a technical equipment sales role or equivalent
Proven track record of sales success and achieving revenue growth, preferably in the energy industry. Experience in sales of energy storage systems or related capital equipment and/or services is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation in both English and Spanish.
A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in a technical discipline (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering preferred)
