Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist job entails assisting and supporting the Sales Department with numerous tasks entailing the sale of products, customer relationships, and acting as an interdepartmental liaison.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quotes, status reports, and mailings by utilizing company software systems
- Quotation follow up and communication to regional sales manager the status of quotes and pending orders
- Process and submission of orders and related documents to and from customers within company software systems
- Tracking and updating demonstration equipment reports
- Lead qualification, inclusive of product and application knowledge
- Monthly reporting summaries to Director of Sales and Regional Manager
- Liaison for Sales Department to the Production and Engineering Departments, particularly product development and order production status
- Daily communication with Regional Manager regarding goals and needs
- Tracking Regional Manager schedule and location, facilitating customer communication in their absence
Minimum Requirements and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Business, Communication, Accounting or comparable area of study
- Experience Level Requested: Associates Degree - 2 Years of Experience
- Computer Literacy Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to operate phone systems with well-mannered efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision and be highly organized
