We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect with a strong background in real estate software solutions and a genuine commitment to the Affordable and Public Housing space. The mission for the Solutions Architect is to persuade prospects and clients that MRI solutions will meet their business requirements. The Solutions Architecture team at MRI is a group of product experts who serve as an extension of sales & customer success, supporting AEs/CSMs as a strategic resource in deal cycles to help secure and grow recurring revenue (ARR).
We build trust and confidence with customers by mapping use cases, business objectives, and workflows back to the solutions we offer and help inspire and drive innovative approaches to solving sales enablement challenges.
We also collaborate and work closely with other teams (Product Management/Marketing/Sales) across the organization in support of successful customer implementations, product decisions and innovation, and the achievement of company growth goals. This position plays an integral role in driving software sales and long-term application revenue for MRI Software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a technical resource for the MRI sales team from qualification to successful close of the sale as it relates to our Affordable and Public Housing Software offerings.
- Be responsible for providing technical / functional support and demos to assigned deals, prospective clients and existing customer.
- Develop the capability to demonstrate the value of MRI solutions to prospects and clients at a very detailed level.
- Add value to the team through optimization or improvement of our team discussions or content in your area of expertise.
- Own the results of a deal – schedule your demonstrations and provide value propositions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends in the APH arena, specifically HUD requirements.
- Present both the functional capabilities and business value of MRI software applications including demonstrating deep familiarity with MRI direction, product roadmap and industry presence.
- Able to deliver proof of concept that can be used to establish viability, address technical issues, demonstrate alignment with discovered client needs, and advance the sales process.
- Evoke prospect and client confidence while positioning MRI offerings and architecture in the best possible light.
- Anticipate and address technical objections in the sales cycle.
- Respond effectively to RFPs.
- Contribute directly to attaining or exceeding quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years relevant computer applications or database/tool expertise.
- Through knowledge of systems, application design and integration methods.
- Experience in a SaaS environment.
- Experienced presentation skills in professional environments.
- Demonstrated ability to solve for improved business processes and work through complex technical problems.
- Willingness to work with minimal direction as part of a team to solve technical and business challenges.
- Flexibility/adaptability. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
- High standards. Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best.
- BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
- Ability to travel as required ( can be up to 60% during busy seasons but typically <15%).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the real estate industry and Government subsidized housing
- Knowledge of related applications, API and web design
- Previous experience as a sales engineer for a SaaS, CRM, ERP and/or real estate software company.
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with MRI and similar products preferred.
