We are hiring a PRN (as needed) Speech Therapist to be a part of our team of experienced professionals in a setting where you will provide clinical speech pathology services to adults and pediatric patients at the acute, skilled and outpatient levels of care.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development and is able to respond to specific issues and data regarding the patient's status

Provide diagnostic assessments of communication disorders including, but not limited to disorders of speech, language, fluency, voice, cognition, memory and swallowing

Devise treatment plans and intervention strategies for patients

Provide therapy services for remediation of communication disorders and/or dysphagia

Provides complete documentation regarding evaluation, education, treatments given, interdisciplinary work, goals and discharge planning

Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Demonstrate behaviors that support the hospital's mission, vision and values

Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures

Demonstrate strong customer service skills
