A renowned healthcare system in Massachusetts is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. In this role, you will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing and ensuring the patient care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of the patients and their families. Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of the patients, establish a care plan, and implement the plan to provide for the patients.
- Review the preoperative checklist with the Pre-op RN and ensure all requirements are met before escorting patients to OR.
- Coordinate care of the patients with the surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel as required.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in the OR.
- Act as a patient advocate and provide individualized care based on the patient’s assessment.
Qualifications:
- An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
- Active RN license.
- 2+ years of OR experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Additional info:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hours; 4x8 or 5x8, days
- Pay; $35-60/hr., depending on experience + shift differentials.
