Description: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for assisting in the company’s recruiting and talent acquisition methods and strategies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing strategies and setting up interviews. Will be responsible for facilitating the movement of candidates through the recruitment process, to include posting job ads, initial phone screenings, scheduling interviews and the pre-boarding process.
Requirements: Responsibility Areas:

  • Source candidates through multiple sources including internal applicant tracking system (ATS), job boards, Professional Associations, colleges/universities, LinkedIn, social media, and other resources.
  • Create a pipeline of candidates.
  • Maintain and update the ATS.
  • Build rapport and develop and maintain talent pools for networking of prospective candidates.
  • Assesses candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and overall compatibility for site requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screens.
  • Coordinate drug tests and background checks.
  • Complete appropriate reference checks on candidates to ensure authenticity of stated skills & experience.
  • Contact new employees and prepare new employee orientations.
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods and strategies.
  • Attend job fairs and career events.
  • Identify and obtain information about potential candidates to meet demand as clarified with business segments using electronic and verbal communication methods.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent sourcing or recruiting experience required.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Must have minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in professional-level talent sourcing and recruiting.
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting for a diverse variety of clinical and healthcare professional roles is highly referred
  • Used to work successfully in a metrics-oriented environment.
  • Solid background and expertise in different sourcing techniques; cold calling, referrals, social media across different markets and disciplines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities & environment.
  • Excellent prospecting and networking skills, especially via online social networks.
  • Knowledge of different applicant tracking systems is helpful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge and skill in candidate process management.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
