TRAUMA COUNSELOR - (Temple University Hospital/40 hours days)

As a member of TUH's Trauma Victim Advocates program, the Trauma Counselor provides individual and group therapy, crisis intervention counseling, assessments, referrals and follow-up medical advocacy to victims of community violence and their families. These services include assessment, treatment, planning and intervention, appropriate referrals to social services, medical and mental health agencies, and other community resources. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Trauma Outreach Manager.
Education
Masters Degree : Accredited School of Social Work (Required)
Experience
2 Years experience as a Social Worker in a clinical or community setting (Required)
2 Years experience as a Social Worker in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
License/Certifications
CSW-LIC - PA Clinical Social Worker Lic (Required) or SW-LIC - PA Social Worker License (Required)
40 Hours Per Week / 8:00 am to 4:30 pm / Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
