Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who must be able to adapt to different learning styles and create a customized learning plan for their student. We want our tutors to have the integrity and knowledge to push students to excel beyond expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Physically located in or near Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Mesa, Queen Creek or San Tan Valley area. Please do not apply if you are not.
- Bachelor's degree or College Student in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree and professional experience tutoring or teaching students in the areas of Reading, Math, High School Science. Teaching credential is a plus but not required for this position.
- Previous experience in teaching/ tutoring required
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Demonstrated knowledge and success with the educational subjects you will be tutoring
- Must have a reliable transportation (a vehicle) and a computer with internet access.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage and educate students in a non-classroom setting
- Comfortable traveling to the student's home, assignments will be placed together so commute is minimum.
- Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels
- Establish academic goals and milestones with students
- Document and communicate progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback for students
Location (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN AT LEAST 1 OF THE LOCATIONS LISTED): Apache Junction, Mesa, Queen Creek, or San Tan Valley
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: starts at $18-$26/hour, bonus opportunities as well.
Schedule: Hours vary. Weekday, evenings and weekends are options.
