As part of the Services, Supplier will perform the following tasks.

Telecom and Telephony support services:

The objective of this professional services is to perform and manage the work effort for Nestlé North America Telecom and Telephony support services. The engaged engineer will work closely with the client IT and third parties to gather Telecom and Telephony information for site closures, circuit terminations, replacement of Telephony solutions (e.g. Avaya, Alcatel and Cisco) to Skype for Business Enterprise Voice in Nestle locations. He/she will also work with the project managers to keep an alignment of scope and provide regular update on deliverables under the responsibility.

During the engagement and duration of the service offering, the Technical Voice & Telecom provider will have to:

  • Support day to day operations to investigate billing issues/concern with Telecom providers and Carriers;
  • Gather information with Carriers for site closures, circuits terminations and telephony systems replacement;
  • Coordinate installation of Telecom devices;
  • Represent the Nestle IT Voice & Conference team in the Skype for Business Enterprise Voice projects;
  • Provide senior level of expertise with existing voice networks;
  • Provide experience integrating different telephony technologies;
  • Provide senior level of expertise of telephony applications such as voicemail and auto attendant;
  • Engage different vendors to ensure the work is done in the agreed timeline.
  • Maintain Telecom diagrams and documentation including hardware and software versions.
  • Provide expertise on capacity planning of Telecom infrastructure;
  • Coordinate plans and issues with other infrastructure teams and project managers;
  • Update management of status, issues, and process improvement opportunities;

As part of daily duties, the engagement Technical Voice & Telecom provider joins a number of daily or weekly calls with all the relevant teams to get updated information and review the status of the activities. If necessary, the Technical Voice & Telecom provider proactively contacts the Nestle third parties to gather information. When an assessment or required initiative is not progressing as planned or when critical tasks are stalled, the provider will report back and escalate to the appropriate IT team. The provider will also leverage their knowledge by providing useful information, helping resolve any issues, helping understand ownership of tasks, using his/her contacts to resolve technical issues, providing additional support to the way a problem is handled, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: From $30.00 per hour

  • Microsoft Teams: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Voice Engineer: 10 years (Preferred)
