Position Summary

Responsible for providing exemplary guest service, issue uniforms, sewing, inventory control.

Essential Functions

• Issue and return uniforms to employees, requires ability to fit the garments properly.
• Operation of various sewing machines and embroidery machine. Knowledge of hand sewing and alterations.
• Press and steam garments as needed.
• Follow procedures/policies.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Inventory each month and cycle count weekly.
• Order stock as needed.
• Issue kitchen employee uniforms daily.
• Maintain and track laundry process.
• Keep current accurate files, maintain all paperwork and filing.
• Maintain accountability in managing inventory control.
• Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
• Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs and services.
• Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
• All other duties as assigned.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

1 year experience in Customer Service related industry

2 years’ experience operating sewing machines, embroidery machines and alterations preferred

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office beginner level including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Certificates & Licenses

Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License

Work Environment

Work will take place in a busy gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The environment is subject to smoke and the associated affects.

Working Conditions

Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180 day introductory period.
