Position Summary: Drives forklift to lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials by performing the following duties.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verifies customer inventory during receipt, shipment and internal movement.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and inventory location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device; onto inbound and outbound trucks; into coolers in the warehouse; onto inbound and outbound rail cars.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Requirements;

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Pass background check/drug screening.
• Previous experience in a warehouse atmosphere is preferred but not required. Northwest Wine service offers a comprehensive training program.
