Job description

Warehouse Manager will lead a team in a fast-paced environment. This individual will coordinate the operations for the warehouse, monitoring work flows and management of resources to ensure and verify timely and accurate loading/unloading preparation for weekly imports/exports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working supervisor, dedicated to strong systematic receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and tracking capabilities.
• Manage warehouse activity and supervise team members for promptness and efficiency.
• Unloading, pulling, packing, palletizing and loading of customer freight.
• Work in concert with all operations/sales personnel and departments on an as needed basis to ensure efficient material handling, documentation, and communication to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Provide direction, support, training and motivation to all staff.
• Proactively address concerns, conflicts, and interactions with team members

• Capable of operating a forklift.
• Regular equipment maintenance.
• Daily interaction with staff. Provide direction, support, training and motivation.
• Maintain building cleanliness and safety of all areas.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Self-starter with strong attention to details.
• Strong professional demeanor, appearance and leadership skills.
• Capable of independently managing multiple priorities, projects and tasks.· Excellent interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working for a Freight Forwarder, Truck Broker, 3PL or similar. · Knowledge of freight carriers and understanding of shipping documents.· A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are needed.

• Availability for occasional off-hours, evening or weekend work. Some days may require additional hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
