Job description
Responsible for Wellness Center orientations, quality fitness instruction, member service, cleaning mats and equipment, while presenting a positive attitude toward the YMCA, its staff and its programs. We have opening, mid-day, closing, & weekend shifts available!

Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 yrs of age
- Must have experience and/or strong interest in Health & Wellness
- Must have knowledge of signs of exercise-induced distress
- Must be comfortable and confident in dealing with the public
- Must adhere to all YMCA policies and required certifications/trainings
- Must understand and contribute to the YMCA's 4 Core Values - Respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty
- CPR & 1st Aid certification will be required. A plus if you already have current certifications!
Duties:
- Ensure the Wellness Center meets and exceeds safety and member service standards of the YMCA
- Complete the daily cleaning checklist to ensure our facility remains clean and safe for all participants
- Be visable and approachable at all times for our members
- Maintain the fill level of the disinfectant, paper towels, and garbage
- Take initiative to talk with members
- Use maintenance log and report any equipment/facility problems
