We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Content Strategist to join the marketing team in the New York City office.

Role

We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and thoughtful Content Strategist to produce, curate, and edit strategic content for business development and marketing pursuits. Must be able to absorb, embrace, and reflect the mission and direction of the firm, and translate this direction into compelling narrative materials. Content may be design-related - e.g., architecture, planning, historic preservation, interiors, sustainability - or about social issues related to our practice such as diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness.

The Content Strategist will report to the Director of Business Development and will collaborate closely with the firm’s Partners and Principals.

Core Responsibilities

Candidates should have proven experience in, work samples, and enthusiasm for the following responsibilities:

• Provide strategic input and content, including defining and developing compelling narratives, proposals across sectors and studios
• Create and edit content for website project descriptions, awards submissions, , and other strategic collateral and media including video and microsites
• Work directly with senior leadership and staff to augment thought leadership dissemination in various forums, including blog, social media, conferences, etc.
• Oversee social media program, supervising staff who implement
• Provide strategic input and content for special internal projects, such as website upgrade
• Collaborate with Director of Business Development, marketing and graphics team, and external public relations firm

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Experience: 5+ years within the design/creative industry, A/E experience preferred
• Relevant experience in content development, writing, and editing
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite a plus
