Jorgenson, Siegel, McClure & Flegel, LLP is seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to support two busy attorneys in the estate planning department.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor deadlines and manage calendars for two supervising attorneys.
  • Organize and maintain client documents in paper and electronic files, including scanning and copying.
  • Telephone and electronic communication with clients, courts, and vendors.
  • Draft Affidavits, Deeds, and other documents related to transfers of real property.
  • Compose and finalize client letters and memoranda.
  • File and e-file documents with the probate court.
  • Process incoming mail on a timely basis.
  • Manage probate administration process, including preparation of required Judicial Council forms.
  • Prepare documents necessary to create and maintain limited liability companies.
  • Ad hoc duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

· 3+ years relevant experience.

· Bachelor’s degree desired.

· Possession of a paralegal certification and notary is a plus.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive).

· Familiarity with WordPerfect a plus.

· General understanding of estate planning and administration.
