Overview:
Amyx is seeking to hire a Manager for Offsite Tier 1 to support our DOJ Civilian Help Desk contract in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor problem ticket trends. Analyze incidents and determine level of support required. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of management experience. Preferred leading Help Desk or Service Desk environment.
i. A help desk management certification for example Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP) to obtain technical and non-technical skillsets required to effectively and efficiently manage help desk operations.
ii. A help desk management certification for example HDI certification (Ex. Support Center Manager or Desktop Support Manager) will prepares candidates to install, configure and maintain personal computers, mobile devices, printers and laptops. It also enables technicians to perform basic networking and PC troubleshooting skills, as well as interact with various operating systems. iii. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) to obtain foundational and deeper technical skillset needed to perform help desk roles.

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
