BEST Logistics Group is seeking an ambitious and dynamic part-time Logistics Assistant to add to our NEW Logistics Office in Yadkinville, NC!
The individual selected for this role will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties requiring strong skills in office management and decision making. The Logistics Assistant should be computer savvy, highly organized, and a professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of clerical duties such as filing, mail distribution, and copying
- Phone/Email Communication, receiving and returning calls/emails
- Rate and enter information into database for freight invoices
- Inventory and Office Supply management
- Customer/Client Relations
- Creates correspondences and reports
- Assist management team with scheduling conference rooms, business related errands, etc.
- Arranges and coordinates business luncheons, dinner engagements, team functions, and gifts for clients
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Prepare Proposals, Quotes, and Pricing for Bids
- Verify accuracy of database orders
- Investigates, tracks, and processes Freight Claims
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- Highschool diploma/GED or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate the completion of administrative projects in a timely manner, including meeting strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience answering business phones
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Must be detail oriented - excellent at research!
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers and clients
- Must be flexible to work extended hours when needed
- Self-Motivated and Goals-Driven
This is part-time, in-office position, ranging from 30-35 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Yadkinville, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
