We are a Family Medicine medical practice located in Rolling Hills Estates, CA.

We are currently welcoming applications for a Medical Receptionist with a minimum of one year experience to join our team.

Primary Medical Receptionist duties will include but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Checking In/Checking Out patients
• Answering, screening, and directing a high volume of phone calls to appropriate parties
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Reviewing patient registration forms for accuracy and completeness
• Verifying insurances and requesting co-payments
• Scanning documents into patient’s electronic medical record

· Work hours will be from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday and may vary,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience as a receptionist preferably in a Family Medicine setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Electronic Medical Records proficiency, Cerner preferred
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to communicate clearly to patients and fellow staff members both verbally and in writing

Educational Requirement:

• A High School Diploma or GED

The successful candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, positive demeanor, and a strong disposition to providing excellent customer service with a focus on compassion and caring.
