Uniforms and tools provided. Transportation in company vehicles from HQ in Eagan.

Position Summary

Managing the landscape needs of clients’ annual, perennial, or vegetable garden/s as specified to meet their goals and expectations, as well as sustaining the best health and interest practices of a particular garden.

Performing restoration of neglected gardens and installation of designs.

Key areas of responsibility

• Performs garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, transplanting, splitting, pruning, deadheading, fertilizing, mulching, etc.
• Performs garden project work such as restoration, re-design and container or edible garden installation.
• Performs seasonal garden services such as winter protection and insulation, bulb installation, and dormant pruning.
• Assists with plant and other supply procurement and delivery
• Performs un/loading and securing of vehicles and trailers
• Performs cleaning and maintenance of tools in vehicles
• Maintains tool and supply inventory in vehicles
• Inquire for additional responsibilities of Lead Gardeners or job descriptions specific to each position

Terms of employment

• Full-time (4 days per week) and Part-time (3 days per week) positions available (Monday – Saturday)
• Seasonal/Temporary hourly position as weather permits (April – November), potential to return from year to year
• 6:30am start; Crew: 9-10 hour average day, Leads:10-11 hour average day
• OT Paid over 40 hours per week

Wages

• Crew Gardener ($18.50 - $21.75)
• Lead Gardener ($21.75 - $26.00)
