Production Operators

Asahi Refining Florida, LLC has immediate full time Production Operator positions available. No specific experience is required but some industrial experience is preferred.

  • Starting Pay $17.00 per hour, plus Quarterly Bonus
  • $500 Sign-on Bonus (half paid after 3 months, the other half after 6 months)
  • Available Shifts: All Shifts
  • 1st Shift M-F, 7:00AM – 3:30PM.
  • 2nd Shift M-F, 3:00PM – 11:30PM with additional $1.00/hour Shift differential.
  • 3rd Shift M-F, 11:00PM - 7:30AM with additional $2.00/hour Shift differential.

  • Must have reliable attendance.

These positions have a variety of responsibilities that may include but are not limited to:

  • Operate Minting machinery, including sorting, counting and placing metal into slots on conveyors, monitoring of material feeding and discharging, bag temperatures and function of all other machinery.
  • Record readings, materials used/produced, processing times, and/or test results in production logs.
  • Maintain high level of quality through visual inspection and remove non-conforming product.
  • Melt raw material into billets and/or grain to use in production processes.
  • Package the finished product into boxes in preparation for shipping.
  • Inspect product produced to ensure all items meet the expected quality standards for the customers. Examine and inspect machines to detect malfunctions.
  • Monitor indicators to make sure machines are working properly.
  • Being accountable for hitting daily/weekly/monthly production goals.
  • Maintain a safe work environment to avoid risks or harm to self and others.

Qualifications for this position are:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Must be team-oriented, able to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to work in a hot environment and close proximity to hot furnaces and equipment.
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal to be able to follow instructions.
  • Some industrial experience is preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts is a plus.
  • Able to flex shift hours depending on business need (evenings, weekends and OT).
