Job Summary

Florence Crittenton, a behavioral health provider with a long history of serving women and girls, is seeking a PRN nurse to work with adolescents assigned female at birth in our psychiatric residential treatment facility. Candidates must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license, and certification as an RN in Kansas. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities and Duties

Preparing and passing medications

Minor first aid

Treatment of low-level physical health issues and referral to physician if needed

Documentation in the electronic medical record

Communication with Director of Health Care Services

Qualifications and Skills

Age 21+

Current driver's license

Licensure as an RN in Kansas

Weekend availability

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Psychiatric experience or experience working with adolescents is a plus. Knowledge of the interaction between psychological needs and somatic issues is beneficial.
