Behavioral Health Resources is recruiting for a full-time Child Psychiatrist. We would love to have you join our team of professionals. Our culture is inviting, and we provide good support to our medical team. BHR has locations in Olympia, Shelton, Elma and Hoquiam, and this position may require travel to these sites. The psychiatric provider work is performed in a comprehensive community mental health setting providing psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of children.

Compensation: $114.82 - $143.21 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

BHR offers an exceptional benefits package with 100% paid medical, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life insurance, $4,000 sign-on bonus, 5% contribution to a 403b retirement plan after one year of employment, 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal holidays per year, a generous paid time off policy of 10 hours per month and 8 hours of sick leave per month, education funds, reimbursement of credentialing expenditures, and mileage reimbursement. BHR is an eligible employer for the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD degree with psychiatric specialty.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Washington.
  • Board eligible or board certified in child psychiatry.
  • Maintain current DEA license and necessary certificates/working agreements for prescribing schedule II-V drugs.
  • Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • As a health care provider, BHR still requires our employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid, unless they have requested an accommodation for medical or religious reasons and that accommodation has been already approved by BHR. If requesting an exemption, any job offer will be conditional while BHR reviews and decides on whether the accommodation request will be approved or denied.
